Diane Lyons (née Johnson) passed away on April 18, 2013 with her family at her side. Born July 8, 1947, Diane was a lifelong resident of Torrance and the South Bay. She graduated from Torrance High School in 1965 and from El Camino College in 1967. During her career, she worked for US Steel, Hughes Aircraft, and Keenan & Associates. Diane was a very creative person and excelled in art and design. She loved country music, the outdoors, gardening, and travel—Hawaii was a favorite destination for Diane. A wonderful wife and mother, she leaves behind her loving family: husband, John; son, Greg Hale; mother, Virginia Johnson; brother, Bart Johnson (Therese); sister, Suzy Zukas (Don); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
