I think the first time I met Bob was on the playground at Greenwood elementary school. We stayed friends all those many years!
A number of years back while Bob was living in Phoenix he suffered a stroke. Randy Bell and I went to see him in the hospital shortly after. Bob never gave up and continue to strive for that quality of life!
The last time I spent time with Bob was when I picked him up at his home and drove him to George Lopez house for the 55th reunion. I was always so very proud of the progress that Bob had made during that time. He always remember to call on my birthday, as I did his.
