 Linda Louise Brown was born 1 Nov 1947 in Torrance, CA, the daughter of Custer & Marion Hawley. She was married to David Brown on 14 Jun 1969. She died peacefully on Monday, 18 Jun 2012 surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her father, Custer Hawley, her husband David Brown, her children Nolan, Carl and Debbie, her daughter-in-law Renee and her two grandsons, Nicholas & Christopher. Linda was a loving wife and mother, always ready to put the needs of her family before her own. As an avid puzzler and reader, her home was filled with books, puzzles, games and special sayings to provide inspiration and faith. She was also devoted to her church Grace Lutheran Church. She spent her vacation time traveling, often to visit with friends and family. And, she raised her children to have respect and curiosity for the outdoors, and to love generously. Linda touched the lives of everyone she knew, including her many colleagues and the children who she worked with as a librarian with the Sierra Sands Unified School District, Ridgecrest, CA.
