My brother-in-law brought a sailor home to meet me the day before graduation and seven months later we were married. Yep, still married to the same guy! When he was discharged we moved to Washington. We have lived in the town here he was born every since. Infact we have lived in the same house for 39 years. We live in the country on four acres. Has been a wonderful place to raise our two daughters. Don was was a master mechanic for Sears until he was downsized at 51 years old. He then went to work for Safeway and worked for then until he retired in 2004. I have been a homemaker for 43 years. I like to say it has been a fulltime job being Don's wife! We are enjoying Don's retirement. We love to travel, fish, and attend bluegrass festivals. Don plays guitar, bass and several other instruments, sings too! I am the vice president of the Washington Bluegrass Association. We stay very busy.
Our oldest daughter lives close by. Our youngest moved to Arkansas with her two daughters last year. We have one grandson and three granddaughters. Life is good and we are blessed!

Went to Long Beach Business School and got married.

I always wanted to be a nurse. Guess being a wife and mother I did a lot of that any way!
